What should we focus on next?
MindMup is community driven, so we’ll work on what our users want the most. For best results, please:
- Formulate ideas as work objectives (explain why, not just what/how). For example, ‘collaborate with friends remotely’ is much better than asking for ‘google realtime v2.0 integration’
- Do not submit stuff anonymously. We want to discuss your proposal with you if it gets votes, and anonymous submissions don’t allow us to do that. Ideas submitted anonymously will most likely be closed.

If you choose 'Print' the title should be added on the map
If I now print a map, and I do that often to look over it later on the day with a beer or cafe and a pencil :) It is annoying that I cannnot add the Title to the print out but have to write it down my self. If this can be added would be great!

Fewer Clicks for Basic Functions and Better User Experience for Mindmup Gold
There are some basic functions that have an unnecessary number of clicks to achieve which negatively impact the user experience.
1) Logging in to gold account from www.mindmup.com – when you sign into your gold account using 'sign in' from landing page it takes you to your account information page. You then have to click 'Use Mindmup', which takes you to another landing page. Then click 'Open from Mindmup Gold' or 'Create New Map'. Add 'full screen' and 'zoom-in/out' functionality inside 'atlas.mindmup.com' mode
As an owner of project I can use this functionalities inside 'MindMup Gold' editor. But when I publish my mindmup map online, people viewing it in atlas.mindmup.com domain, can't use this functionalities beside the ones that browser provides defaultly, but browser ones have some problems with resizing nodes at some positions.
Steps:
1. Open any mind mup file on atlas.mindmup.com domain

Have the ability to create separate "groups" in teams to help organise different group maps.
I would like to have a group map function so that separate classes I run can post their maps into groups (e.g. Class 12a Maps). As it stands now, it seems that I can only access "My Maps" (too many now) and "Team Maps" (way too many). I would like to have a group folder that only contains work from my different classes.

Show indicator on nodes that have hidden links to collapsed nodes
When a link is created to a node that is later collapsed, the link is hidden and there is no indication on the source node that is has any links. It would be great to be able to click an indicator (or keyboard shortcut) to show the links and the target nodes. It would probably be necessary to expand the ancestors of the target nodes.

Multiple notes per node -and- text along connections
I want to use this software to plan assignments, what would be really helpful is allowing multiple notes per node (around 10+ would work) in order to input possible quotes and evidence for the point made in the node. And to be able to put text along the connections, for connecting statements for better flow in assignments. Honestly, if it had these features I would subscribe in a heartbeat. Please vote. Thanks.

Set pre-defined styles for nodes
Rather than having to change colour, font and size for each node individually, to be able to define a style by name, and then attribute that style to any node in one click.
This would really improve workflow.

Show notes below nodes instead in separate panel
I want show notes below my child node. All in one picture and not in separate panel. It's better for presentations or understadning if you need explain one theme (child node) more than in 1 - 2 words

Manual node connections (arrows) should have hotkey and survive copy/paste
I make a lot of use of the "connect to another node" option.
It would be great if it had a hotkey--it currently appears not to.
I also often find myself copy/pasting maps and editing them slightly. Sadly, manually added node connections do not survive copy/paste.5 votes -
Lock labeled nodes
I would like to lock labeled nodes in order they keep their number (sequence by number, hierarchical number or sequential numbers) so that when editing the mind map and adding more nodes, the original nodes labeled keep their number (when adding new ones at the same level).

Ability to store files to any restful webservice, either by providing an existing URI (PUT) or a creation URI (POST)
This could be used in order to integrate MindMup to existing Document Management Sytems

It could be nice to highlight a node and its children by creating a colored zone around the concerned node.

Crosscutting Feature with Nodeannotation or Tagging
Hey,
there are things which span on a different level across.
As an example: Think about a Mindmap with Services. Like Web, Database, Email etc. and every one of those 'nodes' need information about how to backup its data.
What you would do without crosscutting: You would make an backup node on every one of those nodes.
With an annotation or an Tag, you can add a Backupannotation (with content).
The benefit is quite simple: you can have an list view where you see all annotations and all nodes annotated with it. It will generate an 'Backupinformationlist' automaticly.

Export a readable image of a small map
I have a small map, let's say 4 nodes. I want to export it to PNG and use it a presentation. However, exporting ignores zoom level. So I get a small image, which is useless for presentation. The workaround is to capture screen and crop the image in a browser, but this leaves one node with a selection and the background is not transparent.

Send the text from some nodes to a cell phone app. "Mindmup ToDo"
A smartphone todo list that is syncd to tagged nodes on a mindmup map. I think that is a killer app. Certainly would be for me.

Create new or open a map using a keyboard shortcut
I can do almost everything I want using keyboard. Which is a good thing because I don't have to touch mouse now. The only things left are creating a new map and opening an existing map using a keyboard shortcut.
