What should we focus on next?
MindMup is community driven, so we’ll work on what our users want the most. For best results, please:
- Formulate ideas as work objectives (explain why, not just what/how). For example, ‘collaborate with friends remotely’ is much better than asking for ‘google realtime v2.0 integration’
- Do not submit stuff anonymously. We want to discuss your proposal with you if it gets votes, and anonymous submissions don’t allow us to do that. Ideas submitted anonymously will most likely be closed.

MindMup can integrate with Slack and their competition is SamePage and Coda that I am considering. I want these to interface.
LOTS of the options on Alternative To dot net have ways for teams to coordinate. Yet very few of them value or know of mind mapping.
I have no clue how those that are creative or have an abundance of administrative tasks can cope without mind mapping.
MindMup is super simple and elegant. Hopefully, when they have easy access to this tool they will experience less stress and smoother productivity.
Plus the way that MindMup can be used to make storyboards unto scripts, articles, and slide shows could streamline many workflows.

More detailed default preferences
I would like to be able to set more detailed default preferences in my mind map, rather than have to set every single node every time.
For example, I will ALWAYS want an image in a node to be 50x50 pixels, and sit below the node text. Why cant the tool remember I always do this?

Connect one node to another node twice (two lines)
Connecting nodes to other nodes is already almost perfect with the many arrow and line options. I would like the ability to have two lines that connect the same two nodes. I use labels and colored lines to show character relationships. Sometimes the relationship only goes one way, but in other situations, I need to be able to have two arrows of different colors connecting the same nodes.

Landing page for specific login type
As an organisation (University) with a Gold domain-wide subscription we would like a landing/login page with only one type of Sign-in (for us, Microsoft). This would avoid confusion for staff and students in not knowing which one to use. They might attempt the email, username/password or gmail method which wont get them anywhere.

Color of labels
It would be fine if the text of labels had the same color as the line they are linked with.

More accessible maps
I have a few mindmaps that are getting huge (in terms of number of nodes), and I have to do some zooming out and scrolling to get to different areas of them. If there was a theme that put nodes above AND below their parents (top-down sort of does this but only below), instead of left and right, Maps would fit much better on horizontal computer screens.

Indentation
As I am using mindmup to copy and paste code block to aid my memory in learning programming, I would love to see the original indentation of my code to see the logic more. The indentation exists when I am editing a cube but is being removed from view once I am finished with my editing.

Make sure the node you're working on doesn't move around when others collapse or expand
When a team works on a map and they collapse or expand their nodes, the nodes I'm working on gets moved around the map space. It gets confusing. I'm hoping the nodes I'm working on is always the center of my screen instead of being moved around because of the nodes being worked on by others

Add Hotkey reference to mouseover descriptions for all buttons in header
For every single option/button, include the keyboard command that will activate it. I shouldn't have to look up a hotkey reference, it should all be readily available in-program.
I did notice many of the hotkeys are visible if you look through the drop-down menus, but they should be available elsewhere also.

Customising argument visualisation maps
To change fonts globally ( for the whole map) for Argument Visualization too.
This option works for maps, it would be good if it worked also for Argument visualization.3 votes -
toogle between reason and objection to the whole reason
One can object to a whole reason (as opposed to a single claim), by selecting the green bracket and hit Alt+O or use the thumbs-down button on the toolbar.
But once a reason is created normally, how to make it an objection to the whole reason ?3 votes -
Set Consistent Object Widths for each Level
It would be great if you could add a set object width for each level, like you can set colors and fonts. It helps organize the map content and presents it to others that is easier to read and understand.

Your website says that its free so I used it (being an unpaid student in middle school) but when I tried to export it told me to pay and get gold. So I screenshotted it and printed it, but it wasn't saved as a PDF. The reason I used this website was because it was free(which is good for a student) and it was easy and good to use. I better find a new website now. This one ain't free, and I am not paying. Sorry.
