What should we focus on next?
MindMup is community driven, so we’ll work on what our users want the most. For best results, please:
- Formulate ideas as work objectives (explain why, not just what/how). For example, ‘collaborate with friends remotely’ is much better than asking for ‘google realtime v2.0 integration’
- Do not submit stuff anonymously. We want to discuss your proposal with you if it gets votes, and anonymous submissions don’t allow us to do that. Ideas submitted anonymously will most likely be closed.

When a network error occurs, enable 'Cancel' Please, please, please, this error is the bane of my working life!!!!!!
Whenever a network error occurs, the only option that appears is 'Retry'. I am in Asia, so this often occurs!! This basically stops the ability to do any work. If you could just enable to cancel the pop-up so I can continue working until the network problem resolves it would be a godsend. I love Mindmup but this problem is killing my work efficiency!!!

Presentation of map space and not just text content
At the moment, the presentation mode copies the node and child node content to a slide. However, it would be nice to be able to make an image based slide that shows a portion of the map rather than just the text content

Cursors and avatars for every active collaborator so that I can see their work and focus as it's in motion.
Currently it's possible to interfere with the efforts of other collaborators because it's not possible to see where edits are intended or in progress as they happen.
Google sheets for example offers functionality that allows users to collaborate easily by:
- Showing where a user is focused / performing an edit using a cursor colour coded to a list of live-user's avatars
Another important fact is that when collaborating on a graph such as a mindmap it's possible to edit in ways that might remove the node another user is currently focused on, or that are so substantial it disorientates other…

Parent and root nodes that can be referenced via a url and then reused / shared / edited live within other mindmaps
We can already add multiple root nodes. It would be great if the nodes we've already created could be packaged / arranged and reused on our own or other people's mindmaps.
While this is not entirely in-line with "MindMaps" per se, (for example the different context would make them "brittle" and prone to break in the context of other maps) and such a feature would offer a more powerful "semantic map". It's easy to solve the brittleness problem by allowing versioning and forking of sub-graphs.

Center view on youngest node.
We currently have the option to recenter our view on the root node. Could you please allow us to recenter our view onto the latest child node?
I have to make large flow charts and it is physically uncomfortable to constantly be staring at the far-right side of my screen where the latest node is located. I want my current work to be in the center.

when adding a slide in a storyboard, add it after the selected slide
currently, the slide is added at the end of the deck. Big pain when you have a long presentation and you have to reinsert the slide. It would be so simple to add it after the selected slide in the storyboard view.

Freemind export should include the node specific notes as well
I tried freemind export in my gold account. i got only the main nodes. But the notes for each of the note is not visible in freemind note section.

please enable dropbox integration just as like the google drive integration one
you should really enable this as dropbox is in my onpinion a better tool for corporates

Time measurement
My nodes are tasks, grouped into different areas / topics (parent nodes). I added a minutes measurement to track times on task. It works great, except "1385 minutes" on a parent node is harder to read than "23h 05m". It would be great to get times supported as a format for measurements.

Ease of access. I don’t want to carry more than my mobile or have to carry more than one tool.
I want to use MindMup on my mobile device. I would love to see that I can use a calendar from within MM and it integrates with all my mind mapping ideas. But yeah you got to have an application for MM. So far it finally has captivated my attention form almost 1/2 dozen mind maps out there. It’s good I like it keep up the good work, but like I said an application is a must. Especially one that will work with a pen such ipad’s or Lenovo’s, Samsung and does chrome have a pen too ?

allow us to print per branch and allow it to fit into A4 size for viewing

Add ability to insert records in the nodes
When we are driving or working out and can't type it's good to keep the ideas that appear in new brain storms.

Create a mindmup structures that link to a url for an online outliner (Dynalist etc.) so any change in one is reflected in the other.
So if I have a dynalist node url I can past it as a "linked mindmap node" or some such. They sync to each other so that as I edit one - the other reflects these chances. You see a similar dynamic with some mindmap softwares where a built-in outliner style version of the mindmap exists in a side pannel so that people can create mindmaps easilly and also visualize mindmaps they have made in an outline form just for versatility and adding dynamic ways of visualization and input. Work on one map center, update for all map files
If I have to continue working on diferents, or many maps, I have to open many files, and don't let me have a entire visualization, some time, maybe for mayority...working on one space that can contain all maps of differents files, then I don't need open all files for continue update, I only have to work on my space that I can change easily between maps, then each map file will be updated automatically. Thinking about you have 20 map files inserted in differents sites or wherever, will be productive you have to work only one maps center and updating…

Ability to choose the size of the text
This would make it way easier to have continuity among all of the nodes on the map instead of just pushing the "larger node font" or "smaller node font buttons"

Cycle through all connected nodes
On a big map it's difficult to follow connection line from one node to another. I would like to be able to quickly cycle through all connected nodes, including ones where a manual connection was made. It's difficult to find and navigate to manually connected nodes in very large maps
