What should we focus on next?
MindMup is community driven, so we’ll work on what our users want the most. For best results, please:
- Formulate ideas as work objectives (explain why, not just what/how). For example, ‘collaborate with friends remotely’ is much better than asking for ‘google realtime v2.0 integration’
- Do not submit stuff anonymously. We want to discuss your proposal with you if it gets votes, and anonymous submissions don’t allow us to do that. Ideas submitted anonymously will most likely be closed.

Sugestion: Work offline on iOS devices by app in order to take notes when there isn't an internet connection available
I usually take notes in lectures on my ipad, and there is not always an internet connection available. We need Work offline on iOS devices by app. In the past, the app had support for working offline.

Sincerely, we need an app for offline situations, in some countries, as Spain, we still don't hace a whole territorial network supply.

Export links to Freemind.
Currently node links export to Freemind as text. (Also, the HTML tags are not closed.) Please fix!

Improved attachment editor
Attachment editor not covering all of the nodes.
Ability to edit attachments and nodes at the same time.
Make attachment editor either a floating window on top of nodes or docked under or next to the nodes.

Make keyboard shortcuts similar to Google Docs & Word
Google Docs (Google Sheets) has a distinct set of key-board shortcuts. Mindmup uses the same shortcuts to different purposes.
E.g. Enter = Edit cell (both for Word and Google Docs). However, in Mindmup a New item is being generated.
With integration with MS office / Google Docs becoming ever more prominent, it would greatly simplify things if only one set of short-cuts is used.
It would be nice to, for example, add a template of short-cuts that is more in line with the shortcuts used by MS office and google docs.

Collaboration: show who is on line and edits where
In Google docs it shows who is online editing the document and shows with a color who is editing where. This would be very handy for collaboration.

convert file:// urls (local filesystem) to hyperlink
the fast hyperlink on the node is very convenient, what about converting also the urls starting with file:// and allow the user quickly accessing their local filesystem in the browser?

Implement costs cells (ex 'measurements'), times cells and Gantt chart generation ?
Hello, to be able to write some cells for costs measurements (with an automatic total) and some times cells to have Gantt chart generation could improve this amazing and easy tool to the top of what I need.

I came across another program where you can input freestyle several concepts and do the relationships later.
Freestype inputs and establishing sibling, child relationships later. This has the advantage of not blocking the free thinking side of the brain interrupted by the logical side.

User-specific node colour outline for collaboration
I've been using MindMup for collaborating with people on breaking down large thorny problems into smaller sub-problems while showing reasoning steps.

Inference Objection
On argument maps, here is a feature I'd like to recommend. It would be great to have an inference objection function. Right now you can only form an objection to claims. But you can't easily form an objection to inferences. For example, take a simple argument: "All that glitters is gold. This watch is gold. So, this watch glitters." You can object to the premises of the argument in mindmup. But you can't object to the inference from the premises to the conclusion. Yet this is a common style of objection to arguments. Lock nodes status
When I use the Progress extension I define some colors to tasks. Then when I go to my taks that are childs of nodes that are ideas, not tasks, the ideas take the colors of the state from the childs and that is not usecefull. Also when you are collaborating with people and you want to let them know that some node should be lock by the moment, somebody can change it if you don't lock it. Could be some other ways that "lock" is a good feature.

Make Mindmup 2.0 work with "Make a copy to each student" in Google Classroom.
Today Mindmup 2.0 doesn't work with the function of making a copy to each student in an assignment in google classroom. The old version works since it is a file that is copied, but 2.0 isn't a file (but a link to Mindmups own cloud?).
