Save a file with a name different than whatever the top parent node is named.
If there's a way to do this, I haven't figured it out yet. For example, I'd like to make a map named "Home Wireless Network" to contain my network layout with each component's network address and vital information. But my central bubble is my router, which isn't named "Home Wireless Network".
most of the comments below seem to be about google drive. this is supported with 2.0 for google drive (https://drive.google.com) so I’ll close the issue.

I would like this feature when storing in Google Drive.
Issues I have:
1. When I start a map it will be named after the root when I save to Google Drive for the first time. This isn't always ideal since the name of the root node isn't always a good description for the whole map.2. If I during a brainstorm decide to change the name of the root node I will create a new mindmap (as far as I understand). This will create several files, which is confusing when I want to review the work later.
3. When experimenting/exploring I will sometimes have the same root name on several maps in the same folder. This is confusing and leads to mistakes.

I'm also mostly saving to drive or Dropbox; putting a 'Rename' in the file menu would be my best option.

My apologies...I should have mentioned that I'm saving files to Google Drive. I saved the map with the name of my router on the center node, and that's the filename Mindmup used. I then went to Drive and renamed the file to what I wanted it to be. I shut down Mindmup, opened it back up, made an arbitrary change to the map so that the SAVE button would highlight, and resaved it to drive. It saved it, again, as the name of the router in the center node. Perhaps a small filename field up in the left corner of the map would allow a discreet filename to save by, allowing that center node to be named whatever.
