It would be possible to enable auto-saving to Google drive and thus in doing so, offline edits could be saved to Google drive once back online again. I agree this would be a very good functionality.

Google Drive has an offline mode that works with G Docs (for editing) and with G Spreadsheet and presentations (for reading). If you could enable editing like Docs that would be great, and more convenient in the long run than the local storage option. I think you can get synchronisation issues when yu allow multiple users to use a doc, but you don't have multi-user for mind-mup (and I don't think you need it)

Simon - can you expand a bit on that idea? At the moment we access Google Drive using an online API, so you'd have to be online to use it.
Perhaps there is a different way of doing it - do you have an example/link for more info on what you proposed?

Saving to Google Drive offline would be very cool

For me the chrome app should work the same way as the on-line edition; for saving probably local storage and browser storage are the only options; people using google drive off-line could possibly save and sync later when back on-line

Hi, this was the top voted item on our old voting system so we're working on it at the moment. Is there anything specific you want to see in the Chrome app to make it a success for you?
