LINE BREAK of text string in the node.
EXAMPLE:[Ctrl]+[Enter]
Press [Ctrl] key and [Enter] key simultaneously
then LINE BREAK at an arbitrary position of text string in the node.
this is now available at www.mindmup.com – shift+enter should create a line break when editing the node text

chrome on windows 10
doesn't seem to work with me -
Randall - IE8 is not supported, MindMup won't work in it. We don't have the resources to support browsers so old.

Seems to work well on Win-7/Chrome. IE-8 failed to render the example map?
Thank you for this feature. It will make my maps nicer. -

this is a need!!! got rid of having to type many spaces......
For the keystroke I would recommend [Shift + Enter] (google keep is the same way) -

I just found mindmup and spent quite a while looking for how to do this. It did not even occur to me that it wasn't supported.
I know that it doesn't meet my needs without it, which may not be so bad from your point of view. I understand you don't need every possible user. But what is bad is it's such an obvious core feature that I doubt anyone else would find mindmup ready for general use, because who knows what obvious core feature that other person will need and won't find.
Perhaps is is the only such lack. But if I ran into something this big in less than a minute, I have to guess there are others and I can't recommend mindmup ot anyone else.

Really Really need this. my content is meaningless without this.
It is really bad because this is otherwise an excellent program -

Please, make this option available, it should be a core feature.

I am missing the feature too... :-\

Definetly needed, it's actually the first thing I felt was missing when I created my first mindmap. I intuitively pressed Shift+Enter and Ctrl+Enter expecting it would be bound to one of these key combinations, but alas it was nowhere to be found :-<

Yes, this seems like an obvious feature.

I would love this as well.

the need for this feature is simply intuitive in all diagram apps. right next after -- if not part of -- the core features.
