I just found MindMup and have started creating them in my Google Drive – I was looking for something like FreeMind (but compatible with Google Drive) and this is looking good! EXCEPT: out of all of the keyboard shortcuts I used in FreeMind, the one I'm missing the most is related to this feature request, so I went ahead and burned 3 votes on it.
It isn't yet implemented – I'll go ahead and be super-specific with a couple of use-cases to demonstrate:
Two nodes are linked like
[some root]----A----B
If B is highlighted and I press Ctrl + ←, I'd like the following result:
[some root]----A
----B (i.e. B is now A's sibling)
Similarly, now starting from the resulting situation above, if B is highlighted and I hit Ctrl + →, I'd like B to once again become A's child. Note: if A is highlighted and I hit Ctrl + →, I don't expect anything to happen. To turn a sibling into the child of another sibling, it must be below it.
If B has children, then I'd like them to remain children of B throughout these operations.

Does this make sense?
