MindMup is community driven, so we’ll work on what our users want the most. For best results, please:
- Formulate ideas as work objectives (explain why, not just what/how). For example, ‘collaborate with friends remotely’ is much better than asking for ‘google realtime v2.0 integration’
- Do not submit stuff anonymously. We want to discuss your proposal with you if it gets votes, and anonymous submissions don’t allow us to do that. Ideas submitted anonymously will most likely be closed.

See the color hex names in the color pallette
I like using shift+space and quickly typing the name of the color I want, but I don't always know the color. There are hundreds of hex colors (https://www.color-hex.com/color-names.html) and I'm not great with eyeball matching. I also haven't found any docs on the website listing which colors are supported. This is the only page I could find to look:

Ground nodes so they dont move, customize minimum spacing requirements
I can control the density of my map. Also, everytime i make a small adjustment, all my node placement gets thrown off which is annoying

Being able to use hotlinks as nodetext
I know that "notes" are a thing, but that is a very supoptimal solution.
Instead being able to simply click nodes to bring up the link directly whould be great. Maybe have the actual link pop up first in a small window like it does in google spreadsheets (so you know where the link sends you before clicking it).

Connect multiple parent nodes to a child node in argument mode, using the same argument conventions.
Being able to 'connect' two nodes and have a child coming off underneath them both (like an upside-down of the bracket that already exists) would be super useful for being able to visually represent multiple conclusions from one basic thesis in the standard argument conventions style. (Arrows just don't look right, and don't give the same meaning)

When the image is too large, I want to use the magnifying glass tool to enlarge the local details.
In this way, we can see the global and local images at the same time

Include Hyperlinks when converting mindmaps from Freemind to Mindmup
I converted some Freemind mindmap files to Mindmup. All hyperlinks are gone.
Is there a reason why hyperlinks, attached to nodes in Freemind, aren't copied in the node text in Mindmup?
This is the only reason preventing me from switching to Mindmup as my mindmapping tool.1 vote -
Ability to change font colour of notes
The light grey colour of the notes makes it quite hard to read. I often lay out an essay with the map and expand ideas in the notes. Trying to read those ideas while typing in another doc with the light grey is difficult. Something more prominent would be ace.

Styling presets
Provide the ability to create named presets for node and edge styles so that we can just apply styles based on them. For instance, we might have a node class "solution" coloured green, and a node class "issue" coloured red. Changing the styling on the class changes the style everywhere.

Prominent Display of Document Size
Make the size of the current document visible in the menu. This would be useful for free users to see how much of their 100kb size limit has been used.

IOS and Android apps urgently
Work offline on iOS devices by app in order to take notes when there isn't an internet connection available. Like when we are in a plane.

Allow Overlap
Sometimes I want the maps to overlap or get closer to each other than the program allows. Kind of like the "allow overlap" option in XMind.

Make it possible to have two/more parnt nodes that connect to the same child node(s)
WHY: using concept mapping for this throws off the entire mindmap and makes it harder to navigate through it. It should be obvious that multiple thought processes can end up in the same place -- mindmup should provide the ability to display that efficiently.

Be able to drag multiple nodes in one action
My use case is mainly for sections of nodes connected with arrows (not parent-child relations) which I would like to select and move around keeping their connections and relative positioning the same.
