A few "quality of life" improvements
Multiple parent nodes
Why: For now, you can only have one idea per map and i would like to have a few main ideas interact with one another, like making sub-maps in one main map and connect them if needed.
It's not the same as multiple top children nodes because sometimes, ideas may not depend on one another, like the children nodes depend on their parent node."Intelligent" custom connectors
Why: If possible, it should be enabled to set a side/sides of a node from where custom connectors originate as i often find it frustrating when it's not symmetrical or they pass right through series of nodes to connect to another node on the other side.
Perhaps even have multiple options like "arching", "rectangle"... and not just a straight line to another node.Free nodes
Why: Nodes that are not connected to either entities on a map can be custom connected to desired nodes via a connector.
For now, if i want to do this, i have to create a Child node to the last node and hope it does the job.Custom node sizes or font sizes/styles
Why: For now, if i want to expand node space within, i have to either type a sentence or put spaces to give it an illusion that it is bigger.
Parent node simply loses it's meaning if it's not big to signify the starting point of a mind map, regardless of color. My suggestion would be that you either leave node space custom in size (like dragging a text box from a corner to increase the visible typing space) or have various font sizes and leave the node space to automatically adjust.
In either case, A few text options would be desirable as well: Bold, Italic, Underlined, Strikethrough... basically, just like in Google Docs.More color customizations
Why: It feels a little bland to be honest. Only changing colors of nodes and custom connectors is a bare minimum for a successful and inviting mind map.
Changing the color of text, nodes and their automatically generated connections, (better to leave the color coding automatic and custom) and even background would be better in my opinion.Custom arrangement of nodes
Why: The program does this itself which is fine because it looks symmetrical but sometimes, i feel it's getting a little bit crowded and i can't drag the nodes apart/further away/closer or change their orientation to top or bottom on a parent node.
It seems that space is only reserved when the nodes start to crowd on the sides.
I would like to have control over where i place my nodes as sometimes i don't feel like having to mix multiple stemming ideas close to each other because they do not follow the same rout.
i’m closing this one because it has 4 ideas in one. Stefan – all of these are already submitted by other users, and you’ll get them done faster if you vote for existing topics

You can't expect people to vote for all those six ideas at once. Who do you think you are? A member of congress or parliament, proposing a bill?
You need to individually search for each of your six ideas, and vote/comment on what other people have submitted. Then you can submit new ideas for any of these that have not already been covered. I know that 6 is already supported, and 1-3 or variants of them are already being discussed and voted on. Your ideas 4 and 5 might be new ones, but probably not, just I haven't seen or looked for them yet.
