Show "add child" on mobile view
mindmup's interface on tablet/phone is really slow as it is right now. I think the toolbar should have a direct button for at least "add child". another way to do this would be to add the buttons dynamically depending on how much space is available on the toolbar. a final third way to do it would be to have a "+" button next to the currently selected node, which is how "simplemind for android" does it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.modelmakertools.simplemindfree&hl=en
MindMup for iOS devices is now available for general use – we’re taking the Beta marker off, because we finally ensured that users of the mobile app are as productive as when using the desktop app.

I have difficulty understanding the problem is solved !!
If you have android and iOS is not the problem just great!!Reorganize floating menu box 'Add children' etc top for mobile devices!
1. Place the menu 'Insert' - 'Add children, siblings, parents' to the top! Det er mest overused menu. Open menu box from node opens the top menu (Clipboard) automatisk:-(
The menu 'Add children etc.' is risky as the 'Delete' button just below and inappropriately touched lightly.
2. Menu box opens during the hand = besværligt see choices.
Any open in a horizontal menu OVER the node in touch?I hope for a solution fordi is too inconvenient to-use MindMup on android devices sammenlignet others.
Otherwise Page many good solutions !! :-) -

Ah, good idea!

ok, so perhaps in landscape mode we do the vertical toolbar, in portait mode we'll use the horisontal.

I think it's best to:
1 - not take more space than what's taken currently: I have a 7'' tablet, and when the keyboard comes up, there's not much space left besides a couple of nodes and the top toolbar
2 - not use vertical space: most tablets / phones are 16:9, so it's always best to take horizontal space.Currently, the horizontal toolbar is very empty, and you could use the extra space to include the most common actions, while keeping the remaining actions hidden inside the menu. In my opinion, it's not a problem to have to go to a menu for most of the options, but I'd rather have a direct button for stuff like creating child or changing color.
Also, since we're discussing the tablet interface, I miss the zoom/center buttons. Moving a map in a tablet is hard (don't know why it doesn't work every time). -
we're thinking of redoing a mobile toolbar completely, to a scrollable vertical bar with large (touch) buttons on the left hand side. what do you think of that?
