I would love to see the ability to create decision maps. They are similar to the existing argument map functionality. What argument mapping enables you to see is the support for and against a single idea.

With decision-mapping, the top node would be a question, for example, "What should we do about X?" Below that node, would be possible options/solutions. Below those option nodes, you would then have the typical argument mapping nodes (reasons in favor of or against the node above).

Currently there is a "hacky" way to create a decision map using the existing functionality, but it isn't user-friendly and probably not as easy to follow for viewers of the map.

In addition to the decision map functionality, it would be great to add IBIS icons (Issue Based Information Systems). There are only four icons used to represent the types of contributions a person might make to a decision discussion.

1. A question mark to indicate a question
2. A light bulb to indicate an idea/claim/option
3. A plus mark to indicate a reason for an idea/claim/option
4. A minus mark to indicate a reason against an idea/claim/option

Decision-mapping functionality is useful in many decision-making scenarios (individually, school, etc.) but I see it as especially helpful in work and business scenarios.

There are other software programs that have decision-mapping functionality, but I haven't found any that are as user-friendly as MindMup.
