Full Node attachment support for iOS app
Fully Supporting attachments for the iOS app would be extremely useful, especially in situations where users do not have access to an Internet connection or to specific web services, such as when they happen to be in China where Google and many other internet based services are blocked witout a working VPN. Even if users import a mindmup mind map containing attachments to the iOS app, the icons for attachments appear, but they cannot be viewed. Not very user friendly to offer icons for features that can't be used.
Currently the app is more like a mind map prototyper, lacking in sufficient creation or viewing functionality to make it a worthwhile download. It seems like the mindmup application model is a cloud based platform, yet if an app is going to be supported I see no reason, other than man hours, that the app shouldn't be kept at a level of usability comparable to the online version with full interoperability and feature support, unless the app is just a baited hook to draw more users into the cloud service. That being said, I like the functionality of the online version so far. I would enjoy it even more if I could do all the work locally and upload to cloud storage when I felt the need to back up. Especially if I need to move back to China in the near future.
Cheers and thanks for the product. Possibly the smoothest mind mapping experience I have had to date, as long as I have access to the Internet.
