What I would like with this is a way to tag a node with something like #impact or #goal or #screen or #systemaction.
I could do this by editing a node and typing a string preceded by a # symbol as the first element, for example "#actor System Adminstrator". The node would then display the tag in a discrete box on the node itself so I could see at a glance which nodes have been tagged, and what that tag is.
I would then expect some kind of tag manager where my created tags show up and I could filter the nodes shown by tag so that all nodes and connectors that don't match the tag are set to 30% opacity for example - still readable so I could follow a path, but toned down enough that they don't distract from my focus on the tagged nodes.
I could also use the tag manager to set default colours for my tags, so if I was creating a user flow I could tag user interactions, screens, system actions etc, and they would be automatically coloured for clarity.
Trello uses a similar system and I find it immensely useful as a way to organise information and bring clarity to projects.
