Exporting to LaTeX would mean that most of the text could be written in Mindmup. It would not only support the writing process by outlining and stroy boarding, it would be the process with all the flexibility that mindmapping brings.
Imagine how cool it would be to Start on Mindmup with an outlining mindmap, carving out the arguments. Then you drag and drop things in place so that you have a nice structure for your paper. Last you adapt the text to the new structure and click export. Here you go, open it in your favourite editor, wipe out the last mistakes and youre done.
