Ensure Google Docs Collaboration Works after Realtime API is Deprecated November 2018
Mindmup's Google drive and realtime API based collaboration are two fundamental "killer" features, without them the product loses out very substantially to competitors.
Google will pull the realtime API November 2018, after this time those documents and features will likely stop working.

It's essential (imho) to the future of Mindmup that effort should be put in now to ensure this does not affect user's existing work (it still loads after this time without any changes/conversion) and that those same app features are available after the API is withdrawn.
It’s now possible to convert maps that used realtime api to plain google files, and edit them. we also added some features to warn users about remote changes, and merging in remote changes.
