What should we focus on next?
MindMup is community driven, so we’ll work on what our users want the most. For best results, please:
- Formulate ideas as work objectives (explain why, not just what/how). For example, ‘collaborate with friends remotely’ is much better than asking for ‘google realtime v2.0 integration’
- Do not submit stuff anonymously. We want to discuss your proposal with you if it gets votes, and anonymous submissions don’t allow us to do that. Ideas submitted anonymously will most likely be closed.

Move nodes to a different order and have the outline reflect the new order.
I love this tool to help students organize their writing. The problem comes when students rearrange the nodes. The outline doesn't reflect the last saved version- it stays in the order that students first added the nodes. This negates most of the gain of the tool.
I'd also love it if the outline was dynamically linked to the mindmap and reflected changes in real time.
All that said- if any of this is doable and it's all been pilot error up to now, I'd be delighted!

Customise theme
Increase the number of customisable levels beyond 4. Adjust the number of customisable levels to the amount of levels used in the mindmap. Very useable in more complex mindmaps. Make RGB-colors possible.

Bull's-Eye Diagrams
I would like to switch my mindmap to an alternate view where each mindmap item is in a 3-tier (each representing a priority in respect to time, effort and attention) bull's eye diagram. Each mindmap item retains it's color and other attributes, but is placed on a bullseye diagram.

Integrate Excel or Sheets with Mind Map with grouping squares
I'm trying to create a visual layout of incomes and outcomes, and would love to connect numerical values to each income and outcome. It would be great to have this reference from an excel sheet, as its much easier to manipulate data on there and manually making sure that corresponds on the mind map is a hassle.
Also, a square that has a label to group multiple nodes together (Picture a bunch of expenses, some are daily, some monthly, some yearly) that encapsulates them into one square per grouping would help visually and effectively sort them

Offer the option to place Mindmups under folders in first screen that is seen
Just like with folders on my computer and on Gdrive I can easily go to the collection of related materials instead of seeing all the options.
I have several ongoing projects and some dormant ones.
I want to see all my mindmups for each project in one place under a folder I named.
I want those for my dormant projects still available but not cluttering up my initial view.

Make a top-down style with siblings vertical as in normal. This will provide a very compact layout.
Top-down condensed theme that has option for siblings in each group vertical instead of horizontal. Thiis will allow a much more condensed top-down style. Make that the default for a group with no children, make horizontal the default for groups that have children.

Ability to maintain zoom level while using the history time slider
I love the History feature. I've been playing with the time slider at the top of this view.
I find myself wanting to see (and show) how my map has evolved over time; however, the slider seems to auto-pan and auto-zoom to the object that changed.
I can appreciate the potential/value of the auto/pan/zoom behavior for certain needs, but in regard to seeing the bigger picture it's very disorienting. Please allow me to lock the zoom/pan as I slide through my history.

You cannot move a whole map, you cannot change the shape of the nodes just rectangular, cannot change font, the connected are limited
The connection between nodes needs to be creative, I say there are free versions with more options out there...you want to good mindmap fix the above, maps should be able to be moved by its main idea. Give options to search google pics from goog images..and give icons as many as you can to remind us difference between notes this is just text nothing creative.

Top Down Default
Please have a way of making the Top Down Map the default that opens up when you choose to create a map. Right now you have to open the default map and then choose to open ANOTHER new map with the top down option.

Can you export the XBRL global standard format? Alternatively some sort of format that can be converted to the XBRL global standard format.
Your editor is good, but reusing the output is harder than it really needs to be. Being able to add rules, referencing nodes in rules, etc. would be extremely helpful.

After a map is done & collapsed, I'd like to be able to add one node at a time, esp when you have co-premises.
When presenting & the map is collapsed, it would be really helpful to be able to add one node at a time (when you have co-premises they all populate at the same time) so you don't get ahead of your audience or they get ahead of you. This would really enhance presentations for teams who are brainstorming, classes and jurors.

For argument mapping, add arrows that aren't red or green
Dialogue mapping is used to help groups discuss wicked problems. MindMup is fantastic for this purpose! The only thing that dialogue mapping requires that MindMup doesn't already have is the ability to insert questions and answers. This could be easily accomplished by simply creating an arrow that isn't green for "pro" or red for "con," but is (perhaps) blue or black for "is an answer to the question" or "is a question that is prompted by the above."
I've been using MindMup to map dialogues on my campus already (using green arrows for "is an answer" or "is a question")…

Move some icons to a separate toolbar or menu (or allow toolbar position customization)
Move "Add sticky note" next to "Search" and then move all icons including "Add reason" to "Show/Hide hierarchial" to a separate toolbar or hidden from view off the end of the basic toolbar.

add "node parking lot" as a sidebar option
when bring storming, I really hope I can have a node parking lot on the side where I can drop off some floating nodes. I can drag them back on the map from the sidebar when I have an idea of where the floating node belongs to without have to zoom out to find it.
