What should we focus on next?
MindMup is community driven, so we’ll work on what our users want the most. For best results, please:
- Formulate ideas as work objectives (explain why, not just what/how). For example, ‘collaborate with friends remotely’ is much better than asking for ‘google realtime v2.0 integration’
- Do not submit stuff anonymously. We want to discuss your proposal with you if it gets votes, and anonymous submissions don’t allow us to do that. Ideas submitted anonymously will most likely be closed.

Support for tablets & phones
Cannot run this on my 10.1" Toshiba Thrive (runs ICS) or my phone (JellyBean). Chrome store is not supported outside of a Windows/mac/linux environment. How can I use this app on my tablet and phone? I understand a native android app is not currently feasible (but it sure would be nice!).

Autosave to Google Drive
I also face restrictions on letting Apps connect to Google Drive, so I use linked accounts and have my mindmups on an ordinary gmail account. But that can be quite unstable and I keep losing edits (and there are frequent authentication issues). It would be great if Mindmup would autosave every few seconds
41 votesWith the release of realtime collab on Google Drive today (http://blog.mindmup.com/p/realtime-collaboration.html), you can also have remote autosave – same as google docs works. Just create a collaborative map and it will in effect be remotely autosaved google drive map.

Constant feedback about save status, (permanent save button, color coded)
I just discovered MindMup. So I am fresh and innocent ;-) It is very confusing to me that the SAVE button appears and disappears. How do I know that the disappearance is not an UI error? A permanent button, but with different color states would be more assuring to me! Red=changes, dim/grey=no changes.

connecting nodes to each other
WHY: sometimes I want to show a connection between other nodes than the parent/sibling/child nodes

If this turns out to be useful and popular, we’ll probably extend it with arrows, line types etc. Let us know what you think about it on this forum.

move the bubble somewhere else and it doesn't pop back
I'm used to mind manager when you move your ideas somewhere and it stays there, in mindmup it pops back which is quite annoying to me.

Create autocolor options.
There could be autocolor of the nodes. For example the color starts from yellow and the more deeper it goes to level the more it become blue. Same as on bubbl.us
It could be done by choose the start color and the end color. And maybe between colors.
And an option to choose colors to the different branches.

we plan to work on this feature more over the next month and reduce the dependency on CSS. At the moment, styling the map requires a bit of CSS knowledge.

Change color of all items at same level at once
When selecting the new color of an item, one can ask to change the color of all items of the same level (e.g. in an Impact Map, "Who" for level 1, "How" for level 2).

improve save as html...
...with some basic inline CSS like ol, ul, borders,etc.
since i'd like to share by email this export to my "waterfall & gant" lovers, we could reduce the gap and align the frame to the mindup vision

6 voteshtml export is now significantly improved. attachments are exported correctly, URLs are exported as hyperlinks, we use UL instead of a table and there is some basic styling to make it look nice.

Saving filenames in native language.
Why: because when I save files to disk they have filenames like this:

Improve performance on Mobile (iOS)
Perhaps by simplifying the layout algorithm or whatever. The hardest is to scroll a little bigger map.

When finishing a tab initiated node creation with escape, the node should be deleted again.

better visibility of the folders of nodes.
Why: It would be useful when you share the Map with others and they won lost when collapse/expand branches.
Make the folders of the nodes more visual reading.
Maybe an icon on the right to show it's a folder. And the icon could have few different grades to show that there is few stuff under or huge ammount.3 votesArseniy – collapsed nodes are already shown differently, as a stacked deck of nodes. Connect mindmaps together
What: Enable maps to be linked to each other. I imagine this being a feature that could be assigned to a node that, when clicked, would open another mindmap.
WHY: This would give the ability to have a "homepage" to work off for organizational purposes while enabling the user to preserve views (open/closed nodes).
